GATTINARA WINE
Leaving from Turin.
Guided tour of a family run winery, in the heart of the hills of Vercelli area and wine tasting of the renowned Gattinara wine.
STAGE 02
VERCELLI GIANT RICE
Transfer to the city of Vercelli and visit of historical center
Lunch at a Slow Food suggested restaurant
Tasting menu, including the typical giant rice, a variety cultivated only in the paddies of Vercelli area, and a Slow Food presidium.
STAGE 03
THE PADDIES
Guided tour in the paddies during the rice picking season, enjoying the beautiful view of the Rice sea of Piedmont,
Short history of the rice culture and ways of producing the different varieties
Back to Vercelli and walk in the city center
Visit of a craft beer factory, and beer tasting,
Dinner as “Merenda sinoira” at the beer factory , a nice convivial experience with the fiduciary of the Slow Food convivium
Return to Turin in the evening
