Casa Angiolina is an old farmhouse overlooking the Langhe, discover its beautiful history
Casa Angiolina is an original farmhouse built in 1750 for the court tailor of the royal family Savoy of the Castle of Govone, UNESCO World Heritage.
It belongs to my family since generations, we grown happy to enjoy its beauty, it has been restored respecting the original structure; we love this house where you’ll find same love and serenity. Furnished with original furniture and furnishings from the Castle. Modern and functional.
Casa Angiolina stands on top of the hill of the Savoy castle and from here everything is even more beautiful: you enjoy a spectacular view of the vineyards and hazelnut groves of Roero and Langhe, you are surrounded by greenery and flowers of the garden, you can take a walk along the pergola and ancient boxwood hedges, you can relax in the conservatory in winter, the perfect place for your readings and dreams, or you can get your fresh outdoor shower for refreshing while sunbathing in the solarium in the lawn.
There is the organic vegetable garden, there are the aromatic herbs, and the orchard waiting for you.
It has got a strategic position because casa Angiolina is just a few minutes far from Alba, Asti, Barbaresco, Barolo, just an hour far from Lake Maggiore and Turin and an hour and a half from Milan.
Casa Angiolina country house has got a big heart
Casa Angiolina is large and cozy: 220 sqm on two floors.
On the ground floor: the living room with fireplace that opens onto the terraced garden, the large living room with fully equipped kitchen for cooking delicacies: you will find the oven, the dishwasher, the toaster, the boiler, the coffee pots, all the pots you desire suitable for cooking and full furnishings, glasses, plates, cutlery and pottery; the veranda with the fireplace and the window to have light and sun even in the colder seasons, the bathroom and laundry.
And now let’s go upstairs to the first floor along the original stone staircase. Here you find four spacious bedrooms all with balcony windows or terrace.
The room d’masnà ( piedmontese for “the room of the kids”) with a French bed, an antique cradle for children and a small terrace overlooking the Savoy Castle;
The room granda Angiolina, (the room of the grandma), with original antique king size bed lined with fabric, floor with the original cementine tiles, fireplace, antique toilet, two balconies and window overlooking the Unesco Heritage hills.
The room d’ basin, ( piedmonteese for “room of the bowl” and as well room of the small kiss”). The name comes from the ancient wooden toilet tripod, with the ancient porcelain basin and the same jug, once upon a time used for washing. The room has the original king size antique bed, window on the hills and terrace for your breakfasts.
The room grand Vittorio, (the one of my grandpa Vittorio), with two antique single beds, the French wardrobe from the castle with hand-made antique mirror, a bedside table is the old “preive”, the original bed warmer and has the terrace overlooking the hills of Barbaresco Unesco.

- For stays longer than 7 days there is a 15% discount
- For stays longer than 15 days there is a 30% discount

30% deposit at the time of booking.
- You can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date. In this case, the 30% deposit will be refunded without any penalty.
- If you cancel the reservation within 15 days of arrival, the 30% deposit will not be refunded.
- Five days before arrival, full payment of the reservation will be required.
The rates shown are per double room/2 persons. The double room for single use has an extra cost of 20€ per room per night.
The tourist tax is 1.5 EUR per person per night. This tax does not apply to children under the age of 10. The tourist tax will be paid together with the remaining balance of the reservation, five days before arrival.
It is also informed that at the beginning of the stay, a cash amount will be collected as a security deposit. The amount is €300 and will be refunded at check-out, once the proper maintenance and absence of damages are verified. In the event of any damages, the necessary amount for proper restoration will be charged.

- Our guests are requested not to smoke
- It is not possible to host parties or events in the house during your stay
- It is not possible to accommodate people other than those indicated at check in
- Upon arrival you will be given 1 set of keys, please let us know in advance if you need an extra set. In case of loss of keys €150 will be charged.
- Electric car charging is not allowed at the house
- We do not accommodate animals although we love them very much, as Casa Angiolina is not suitable to accommodate them. We prefer to guarantee you a worry-free stay.
- Cleaning fee of 65€ is not included in the cost of the night but will be charged during the booking process.
- Security deposit of 300€ to be paid on site at check-in, which will be returned to you at check-out.
- Our municipality requires a tourist tax: 1.5€ per person per night. We will be responsible for transferring it to the municipal administration.

Wine Tasting glasses and decanters for the superb wines of Roero and Langhe, washing machine and dishwasher, fireplaces for nostalgic people and central heating for modern ones, linen, towels and sheets, those of the grandmother made of hemp, TV and Wi-fi with coverage throughout the house. Access for disabled on the ground floor with dedicated bed.
Table chairs and umbrella for the terrace, deckchairs tables, umbrella and armchairs to enjoy the garden and the sun, outdoor shower in the solarium to cool off in summer, winter garden solarium with windows to enjoy the sun in autumn and winter. Reserved parking.

Stage point of the e-bike and cycle tour in the Roero and Langhe hills, with wine tastings stop included.

ELECTRIC BIKES RENTAL
Half day, all day or even for the entire period of your stay. Bikes will be delivered to the house complete with helmet and child seat (on request). If you want you will also have a tour guide and naturalistic cycle that will lead you along the itineraries in the hills.
WELLNESS IN THE NATURE OF ROERO
You can have pilates or yoga lessons directly at home with a qualified instructor who will lead the lesson on the lawn under the garden pergola or in the spacious veranda.
You can have personalized sessions for shiatsu massage treatments, ayurvedic treatments, relaxing and decontracting massages, conducted by qualified professional.
OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES
We prepare a picnic with a basket full of fresh produce and tablecloth to relax on the lawn of the garden or in the middle of the rows of vineyards close to home.
