THE ANCIENT PIEDMONTESE CORN “EIGHT ROWS”
Leaving from Turin.
Transfer to San Giorgio Canavese to a farm belonging to the representative of the Association “Antichi Mais Piemontesi”, wine makers and old local cereals expert.
Guided tour of the farm and wine tasting, along with some best homemade specialties, cooked with the old corn 8 row flour.
Transfer to Pavone Canavese at a farm and agritourism, specialized in breeding of the Piedmontese breed cow
Guided tour of the farm and lunch at the agritourism, including the own local food products of the farm.
STAGE 2
NEBBIOLO CAREMA WINE SLOW FOOD PRESIDIUM
Transfer to CAREMA to discover the vine Nebbiolo Carema, presidio Slow Food since 2014, thanks to its recognized biodiversity.
The Carema Nebbiolo is a wine so closely related to its own territory that it takes its name from the small village center of its production.
The orange color is a characteristic that clearly distinguishes this great wine produced in the mountain from all the other Nebbiolo.
Guided tour of the winery and wine tasting of the presidium Nebbiolo Carema.
STAGE 3
CANDIA LAKE AND AND ERBALUCE DI CALUSO WINE
Transfer to the close Candia for a boat tour on the lake.
On the lake shore you will have a Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG tasting and toast, followed by the visit of the winery producing Erbaluce di Caluso wine.
Aperitif at the winery.
Transfer to CALUSO for the dinner to a Slow Food recommended restaurant
Return to Turin in the evening
