STAGE 1
ALBA AND THE HAZELNUT
Leaving from Turin, Transfer to Alba for a guided tour of the medieval city and its towers.
On Saturday visit of the farmers market showcasing typical products, including the famous hazelnut.
Lunch at the Osteria nominated by SLOW FOOD with tasting menu and the famous hazelnut cake, made with locally produced hazelnuts, the famous “tonda gentile” of Langhe IGP, protagonist of the Piedmontese confectionery tradition and Gianduja chocolate.
STAGE 2
BAROLO, WINE OF THE KING
Transfer to Novello in the production cellar of the legendary Barolo, king of wines and wine of the kings, and of the rare and special Nascetta Barolo and Nascetta tasting, guided tour of the winery.
Short walk from Novello to Barolo along the romantic Barolo road, in the middle of the famous vineyards.
Arrival in Barolo, visit of the village.
Transfer to the nearby village of La Morra to enjoy the landscape on the Barolo vineyards from the natural balcony.
STAGE 3
THE ELEGANT PELAVERGA
Arrival in Verduno for a guided tasting of Pelaverga wine, in the cellar most suited to the production of this extraordinary wine.
Dinner at a restaurant near the castle of Verduno, with a spectacular view at sunset on the most famous vineyards of Piedmont.
The dinner will be a real merenda sinoira in the garden of the restaurant, as the farmers used to do at the end of the working day, for a convivial moment with tasting menu of local products.
Return to Turin in the evening
